What is Slippage?

Mastering Slippage for Smarter Trades 🎯

Slippage is the difference between the expected price of a trade and the actual price at execution. On Alloy, you control slippage tolerance to balance speed and price accuracy.

How It Works:

Set Your Slippage Tolerance – Define the maximum slippage you're willing to accept for both buys and sells. ✅ Dynamic Slippage Calculation – Alloy automatically determines the optimal slippage within your set tolerance, ensuring better trade execution without unnecessary overpayment. ✅ Real-Time Display – Your current slippage setting is always visible above the Buy/Sell button before confirming a trade.

How to Adjust Slippage:

⚙️ Customize It – Go to the Settings menu to set your default slippage tolerance for all trades. 🔍 Check Before You Trade – See your active slippage setting just above the Buy/Sell button before executing a transaction.

With Alloy’s intelligent slippage system, you get the best possible execution price while staying protected from excessive price swings.
